We pretty much all have been through some DIY at one stage or another. (If we haven't we either have a real aversion or we're very wealthy!) Now DIY can bring real joy to some, tackling projects large or small, complete home renovations are a business in their own right and putting up a shelf in a lounge can be rewarding as well as a challenge for many.

Over these pages we're sourcing what we think are really useful and practical interior DIY tips straight from the top. We often get asked where we get our tools and other DIY materials, and with so many suppliers out there today we feel that whilst we cannot necessarily recommend suppliers, we can certainly point our visitors to ones we have heard good things about. Some new projects including interior shutters and house shutters, shelving round fireplaces, installing blinds and shutters, they will all be helpful for interior home improvement budding stars. So, back to some DIY tips. The home is a place which inevitably will require continual maintenance, from cleaning out your gutters to revamping your electrics. There'll be everyday chores to perform and some major DIY projects to plan as well. We think sometimes the best way to tackle any DIY project is to plan first (researching possibilities), implement drawings and costings, then source your materials based on available budgets, followed by carrying out the work and possibly getting some help on the way!
